A cheating husband who sent text messages to sex workers on his iPhone plans to sue Apple for £5 million after his wife found the messages on a connected computer.

The middle-aged father said he would organize contacts through iMessages, which he would then delete.

But his wife clicked the same app on the family iMac and found his last message.

She then discovered allegedly deleted messages dating back several years and filed for divorce within a month.

Now the businessman, who lives in England, intends to recover the money he lost in the separation, plus legal costs — arguing Litter does not make clear that iMessages can be viewed on linked devices.

He told The Times: “It’s all very painful. It was a very brutal way to find out for my wife.

“My thought is, if I had been able to talk to her rationally and she hadn’t taken it so brutally, I might still be married.”

London law the company Rosenblatt said Apple did not respond.

The Sun has approached Apple for comment.
