A 15-year-old boy has been charged over the death of a 70-year-old man in Glasgow.
Police were called to the Victoria Road area shortly before midnight on Friday following reports of a serious assault on the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The teenager who was arrested and charged with the death must appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson said: “At this time, our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the deceased as they come to terms with their tragic loss.
“I would like to thank the local community for their assistance with our investigations.”
