THREE men have died after a horror crash near a shopping center – while another is still fighting for his life.
Emergency services rushed to the London shopping center at around 11pm yesterday.
The car was reportedly carrying five men in their 20s at the time.
Police revealed today that three people died and one was left fighting for his life in hospital.
The injuries to one of the other men were not considered life-threatening.
The horror unfolded near the Staples Corner shopping park in northwest London and the Metropolitan Police believe only one car was involved.
Inspector William Mcdonald, one of the officers responsible for policing Barnet, said: “Emergency services responded last night to what appears to have been a horrific accident.
“An urgent police investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances, led by detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
“Police officers are in the process of informing the families of the five young people.
“Families will be supported by specialized agents. I send you my sincere condolences.”
