A man has been charged and is due to appear in court later today in connection with the death of a woman at a house in Glasgow.
Emergency services were alerted to a seriously injured woman inside a property on Tummel Street, in the Riddrie area of the city, at around 7.40pm on Thursday.
Maxine Clark, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland said his family has been informed.

A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with Ms Clark’s death and is expected to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
