Sky News has scooped a prestigious gong at the Broadcast Digital Awards.
On Wednesday night, Sky News won the award for best digital support for a strand, channel or genre at the ceremony in central London.
Sky News was up against the likes of Comedy Central, Eurovision Song Contest and Glastonbury, which were also shortlisted.
The awards celebrate the UK’s top digital content, creators and channels, with judges from across the industry.

Each judging panel is chaired by a member of the awards editorial team.
After debating the merits of each candidate, a secret vote is held to determine the winner.
Sky News was also nominated for channel of the year, while Stuart Ramsay’s award-winning coverage of Sky News in documentary The last hospital: 30 days in Myanmar It was also selected for best current affairs programme.
