Officers were called to Alcott Close in Feltham following a stabbing

A man was stabbed at 2.07pm in Alcott Close and just six minutes later two other men were stabbed less than a mile away in Walsham Road.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: “On Thursday 4 July at 2.07pm police were called to Alcott Close in Feltham to reports of a stabbing.

“Upon police arrival, officers found a man suffering from a stab wound. The suspect was no longer at the scene.

“Six minutes later, police were called to Walsham Road with reports of a stabbing at the scene.

“Upon arrival, officers found two men suffering from stab wounds. The suspect was no longer at the scene.”

The attacker remains at large and no arrests have yet been made, police said.

Two of the victims’ injuries were initially thought to be life-threatening, but police later said the three men’s injuries were not life-threatening.

It is currently understood that the incident is not linked to terrorism and the Metropolitan Police said there was no link to the general election or polling day activity.

Police are currently focusing on the Allcot Close location where a police cordon has been placed.

A bicycle can still be seen on the sidewalk next to a medical kit, MailOnline reported.

A Section 60 order, which gives officers additional search powers, is in force in the area, Hounslow Police said in the X.

The order started at 4pm and should last until midnight.

Scotland Yard continues to fight knife crime more than any other authority.

Home Office figures show there were a staggering 14,577 knife crimes recorded by Met officers in the 12 months to December 2023.

This means the Met police deal with 29% of knife crime across England and Wales.

Home Secretary James Cleverly previously told The Sun’s Never Mind The Ballots that knife crime was simmering in London despite taking hold in the rest of the country.

He criticized Mayor Sadiq Khan’s “reluctance to be honest about the rise in knife crime in London”.

Days before winning a third term as mayor, Khan promised to crack down on street crime with a package that included a £3m investment in young workers.

He said: “I want to tackle street crime head on. We will have extra police targeting the worst hotspots where people are most likely to be victims.

“I am also investing in new street youth workers, focused on key after-school times when young people are most likely to be caught up in crime in their local areas.”
