A UK ticket holder has won the £33 million EuroMillions jackpot, the National Lottery said.

The ticket, which was brought in the UK, was the only one to match all five main numbers plus both Lucky Stars, raising an incredible £33,078,306.60.

The lucky winner is now being encouraged to come forward as they have not yet claimed their winnings.

“What a great way to start the month,” said Andy Carter, senior winner advisor at the National Lottery.

“Players are asked to check their tickets and call us if they think they are tonight’s winner.”

The winning numbers were 11, 13, 29, 31 and 47 with Lucky Stars 01 and 11.

Another UK ticket, reference HPMD34450, won £1 million in the Millionaire Maker game.
