The clip shows a man carrying the “huge” object under his right arm, under a sheet, as he walks out of an alleyway leading to the property in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

Dressed all in black, he was also filmed carrying a bag that officers fear could be a cache of Kyle Clifford’s other weapons.

Carol Hunt, 61 – wife of BBC racing commentator John Hunt – and her daughters Louise, 25, and Hannah, 28, were later found inside.

The man in the footage then climbs into a black Seat – the same car believed to have been found abandoned earlier today.

This discovery led police to Enfield, where armed officers were searching for the suspect.

A source said: “You can clearly see from the outline of what’s under the sheet that it’s in the shape of a beast – but it’s huge.

“When we first heard the gun was involved, no one thought it could be that big – it makes you wonder where he got it from.

“The way he walks is with clear intention – he is moving to get to the car as quickly as he can while still walking.

“He was clearly carrying a lot of equipment, but if you were on the street you would never assume it was a deadly weapon.”

What we know so far…

A full-sized crossbow can fire arrows with accuracy up to 250 feet – raising the terrifying prospect that victims may not even see the shooter before being shot.

In the clip – the man believed to be Kyle Clifford – gets into the black car and waits 18 seconds before driving off westbound on Bushey Grove Road towards.

The road is directly connected to the crime scene at Ashlyn Close by a footpath.

The black seat in the footage is believed to be part of the ongoing investigation.

Hertfordshire Police said: “A vehicle has been located and is being investigated.”

A spokeswoman added: “We are unable to comment further at this time.”

The three women are the wife and two daughters of BBC Five Live racing commentator John Hunt, the broadcaster confirmed this afternoon.

They were identified as John’s wife Carol, aged 61, and his daughters Hannah and Louise.

John was working at Lingfield Park Racecourse in Surrey yesterday before returning home in the evening to discover the horror that had unfolded, it is understood.

Online Mail reports that Clifford was the ex-boyfriend of one of Hunt’s daughters.

Dramatic footage obtained exclusively by The Sun this afternoon showed officers raiding a house in search of the suspect.

Two helicopters were spotted circling the Hilly Fields area of Enfield, north London, as armed police raided a house.

An officer can be heard shouting: “Armed Police, come to the door and put your hands up” as officers attack the front of the property.

It’s unclear who or what officers discovered in the home, but at least two officers are still at the scene.

A source said: “It’s a very heavy-handed response – and shocking for everyone to see.

“They attacked and spent a good amount of time at home. It seemed like there was no one there.”

At a press conference at 12.30pm, Hertfordshire Police said they were still searching for the suspect.

The force confirmed that Clifford, who is from Enfield, north London, may still be armed and urged anyone who saw him to call 999 immediately.

They also said it is believed he may have been in possession of a crossbow and may have used other weapons in the “targeted” attack.

Children at an Enfield primary school have been kept at home as police search for a triple murder suspect.

Appealing directly to Clifford today, Detective Superintendent Rob Hall said: “Kyle, if you are seeing or hearing this please contact the police on 999.”

Herts Police have told anyone who has been in Ashlyn Close since lunchtime yesterday to call 101 quoting Op Infauna.

DSI Rob Hall said: “This is an incredibly difficult incident for the families of the victims and we ask that their privacy is respected as they come to terms with what has happened.

“Although we are still in the early stages of this investigation, we are actively searching for Kyle Clifford, who we believe may be in the Hertfordshire or North London areas.

“Given the seriousness of the incident, I would urge anyone who knows where he is to contact the police immediately.

“If you believe you have seen him, please do not approach him and dial 999 immediately. He may still be in possession of a weapon.”

Enfield Council said: “You will be aware of reports of suspect Kyle Clifford from the Enfield area, wanted in connection with a triple murder in Bushey.

“We have been advised by Police that there is no perceived threat to the public, so the guidance is to continue as normal.

“Local schools have been advised that end-of-day school procedures must continue as normal.

“There will be an increased police presence in the area and around some schools to reassure students and parents.”

It comes after horrified neighbors said they heard screams last night.

Francis Turner told The Sun: “My husband and I were watching football when we heard sirens and shouting. There were about 30 police officers outside.

“There were armed police officers. They came and knocked on our door and told us to stay inside and keep the doors closed.

“My heart goes out to them. I feel very sad for the family, my heart goes out to them.”

A neighbor, who did not want to be named, said he heard screams before “at least 16 police cars” appeared at the scene.

They added: “It was between 6.30pm and 7pm last night and it literally sounded like children, someone screaming, and then it got louder and I thought, ‘that’s definitely a woman screaming’, and within 15 minutes, it was absolute chaos.

“We had armed police running around, shouting ‘stay in your house’…. they isolated us and basically put us in lockdown.”

Another resident, Dereck Turner, who took a photo of armed police outside, said: “It’s a very quiet and peaceful area, it’s close to everything, when a house comes up it disappears.”

Shocked neighbors said Louise ran a dog grooming business called Groom and Glow from a detached house in a cul-de-sac.

Local resident William Nourallah paid tribute to the “beautiful young lady”.

He said: “She was a beautiful girl. She really was a young, hard-working girl.

“I met the mother once or twice because she opened the door for me. I met the father

“She was happy every time I saw her. We laughed and joked. She was a beautiful young lady. It’s a waste of life.”
