The brother of the man suspected of killing three women with a crossbow is a convicted killer, serving a life sentence for running over a teenager on a motorcycle.
Bradley Clifford, 30, is the older brother of Kyle Clifford, 26, who was found in Enfield, north London, on Wednesday after a huge manhunt.
The search was launched after Carol Hunt – wife of racing commentator John Hunt – and her two daughters Hannah and Louise were killed at their home in Bushey.
Six years ago, Bradley Clifford was sentenced to life in prison at the Old Bailey for killing an 18-year-old who broke a bottle in his “prize-winning” red Mustang in 2017.
Bradley Clifford collided with Jahshua Francis, 19, who was riding a motorcycle, and his passenger Sobhan Khan, 18.
He drunkenly chased the scooter through Enfield at almost double the speed limit, on the wrong side of the road.
The two teens were thrown into the air when he hit them. Although Francis escaped serious injury by “mere chance”, Khan was seriously injured.
In an “intense rage”, Bradley Clifford continued the attack as he lay in the street, punching him hard nine times, the Old Bailey heard.

Before the murder, Bradley Clifford threatened to stick a knife to the throat and “raise hell” to anyone who interfered with his Mustang in a WhatsApp message to his girlfriend.
He was found guilty of murdering Mr Khan and intentionally attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm on Mr Francis.
During sentencing in 2018, Judge Sarah Munro QC told Bradley Clifford that she clearly regarded her Ford Mustang as a “status symbol of which she was proud”.
She said: “The two young teenagers who got on the motorbike didn’t know how angry you were or what you were capable of.
“If they had seen the WhatsApp message, they wouldn’t have been fooled enough to throw a bottle at your car.
“You decided that those who were on that motorcycle would have to pay the price and you pursued them with the intention that they would do so.”
