Two murder victims who were reportedly shot dead before being found in a burned-out car in Sweden are British, according to local media.
Police have launched a double homicide investigation after discovering two people dead on Sunday afternoon in Malmo.
When police attended the scene following reports of a fire, they found a burnt-out Toyota Rav 4 with Danish registration.
Swedish media reported that both victims were British citizens and were shot dead before the fire.
According to reports, the Brits rented the Toyota at Kastrup Airport in Denmark before a burnt carcass was found at around 2pm local time.
Local police are interviewing witnesses and appealing to the public for any help, as Interpol is also said to be involved.
The two victims have not yet been identified.
