A man and woman who were among six killed in a crash in West Yorkshire have been named.
Christopher Barton, 56, and Janine Barton, 48, died after a motorcycle they were driving collided with a car on the A61 between Wakefield and Barnsley on Sunday.
In a tribute released by the couple’s son through West Yorkshire Police officers, they were described as “a loving, caring mother and father who always put me before everything else.”
The couple recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
Mrs Barton appears to have lived in the Barnsley area, according to social media.
Shane Roller, 33, his partner Shannen Morgan, 30, and their daughters Rubie and Lillie Morgan-Roller, aged nine and four, also died in the crash.
‘A credit to your parents’
Earlier, staff at a primary school paid tribute to the two girls who died, saying it was “a pleasure to teach”.
Athersley North Primary School in Barnsley described Rubie as a “kind, happy and caring girl” who aspired to be a teacher, and Lillie as a “bright, cheerful and happy little girl who was a popular member of her class”.
“They were a much-loved part of the school community and their loss is a devastating blow to all who knew them,” the school said.
“The girls were a credit to their parents, who were always very supportive and who will also be greatly missed.
“Our sincere thoughts are with his sister and family at this incredibly sad time.”

Until here, over £200,000 was raised for the 11-year-old girl in the family who was orphaned after the accident.
The page, created by family friend Paul Hepple, said that the young woman “lost her entire world in an instant”.
She will now be cared for by her aunt, “who is an amazing, loving and capable guardian,” Hepple said in an update Tuesday.

The money will go toward living expenses, education and counseling, he added.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Callum Roller posted a tribute on Facebook to his “incredible brother”, sister-in-law and nieces who died in the collision.

He said his heart was “torn into a million pieces“.
Superintendent Alan Travis of Wakefield District Police described it as an “absolutely tragic incident resulting in the loss of six lives”.
West Yorkshire Police has launched an appeal asking any motorists who witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage to get in touch.
