But the opulent lifestyle of Pastor Andy, head of the 15,000-member World Overcomers Christian Church in Durham, North Carolina, has now come to light through his recently filed divorce papers.

Newspapers revealed details about his $2.8 million home, a $1.3 million alimony settlement and a host of legal issues.

The child support agreement requires Thompson to pay $12,000 a month for nine years, totaling $1.3 million.

Additionally, the property agreement shows that Thompson will maintain the couple’s 58-acre North Carolina property, which is north of their current residence.

Public records reveal the Thompsons’ residence as a 14,000-square-foot North Carolina mansion equipped with luxurious amenities such as a home gym, movie theater, infinity pool with hot tub, and more.

The property, valued at $2.8 million on Zillow, was purchased by World Overcomers Christian Church from 2020 Properties LLC in 2018 for $1.53 million.

The church later transferred ownership to another nonprofit, Restore Community Development, in 2021 without any financial exchange.

Despite the large scale of the assets, the property agreement stipulates that Dequilla Thompson, now the pastor’s ex-wife, will receive just $50,000 from the sale of the 58-acre property.

She will also maintain a modest rental home in another part of the state, valued at just $154,000.

As part of the settlement, Pastor Thompson assumed a $25,602 debt to the IRS.

He also retained ownership of his four adult children’s cars, as well as his own Ford F-150, while Dequilla received a 2010 Kia Soul.

Both parties retained control of their respective businesses, Projects of Home Inc. and Thompson Communications Group, LLC.

Pastor Thompson founded World Overcomers Christian Church in 2003.

The church claims to be one of the fastest growing in America, impacting more than a million people each week through Thompson’s television program, The Truth.

Pastor Thompson is also the author of Real Love Dating and Real Love Marriage, two books that provide relationship advice.
