US Marshals and El Paso Police SWAT Team Search East Side Home

The El Paso police SWAT team was assisting the U.S. Marshals Service with a search warrant Monday night in an East Side neighborhood, police said.

The search warrant was being executed in the 2100 block of Septiembre Drive, located off Montwood Drive, west of Hanks High School, police said.

Crime: ‘Last time’: El Paso jailer arrested for smuggling cannabis papers into prison annex

The reason for the search warrant and whether anyone had been taken into custody was not immediately available.

The US Marshals Service is tasked with capturing federal fugitives and protecting the federal justice system.
