The Ukrainian military intelligence agency GUR said: “The Russian invaders suffered losses among personnel during the battle – the exact number is being clarified.
“Having completed the assigned task, in particular the secret part of it, the military scouts left without loss.”
“This is not the first successful active event of GUR special forces in the Russian-occupied Tendrivska region.
“The relevant actions are only part of the large-scale plan of the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces, the implementation of which is ongoing.”
However, Arkhangel Spetsnaza, a pro-Russian Telegram channel, claimed that three out of ten Ukrainian boats were destroyed.
The channel said: “The military of the Russian Armed Forces, having discovered the enemy boats, opened fire.
“The enemy landed right in the minefield.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces were clearly not prepared for serious resistance.
“One of his fatal mistakes was attacking without prior preparation.”
It comes after Ukrainian special forces invaded Russia with jets and troops.
Ukrainian Humvees, armored vehicles and hundreds of soldiers crossed the border into Russia’s Kursk region on Tuesday.
A blog claimed this morning that Ukrainian troops had reached 15km inside the country as Putin struggled to contain the unprecedented incursion.
The 71-year-old Russian tyrant called the attack on the Kursk region a “great provocation”.
He told members of the Russian government: “The Kiev regime has launched another major provocation.”
Putin accused Ukrainian forces of “indiscriminately firing” at civilian targets.
The Russian military said Ukraine sent 300 soldiers, 11 tanks and 20 armored fighting vehicles across the northeast border yesterday morning.
It is the same region that rebels supporting Ukraine attacked in a two-pronged attack in March.
Fighting is concentrated in small villages along the lightly guarded border, with Russia saying it is evacuating civilians.
Ukraine successfully prevented this attack, killing thousands of Russian soldiers in the fierce battle.
The raid comes days after Ukraine released images of its new F-16 fighter jets supplied by allies.

The Kremlin reportedly offered a costly reward for the destruction of each individual jet and the elimination of a Ukrainian pilot.
