A woman died after becoming trapped in a conveyor belt system at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

Firefighters were called Thursday morning after reports of a woman trapped in machinery in the baggage area of ​​Terminal 5, NBC Chicago reported.

She had become entangled in the conveyor belt system used to move luggage and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said she was seen on video entering a restricted area that was unoccupied in the early morning hours. Her body was found hours later, ABC Chicago reported.

She has not been identified, but police said she was 57 years old and apparently was at the airport overnight.
