THIS is the shocking moment Putin’s “turtle tanks” were reduced to flames across Ukraine in a series of stunning battles.

Zelensky’s men continued to invade further and further into Russia, while a trembling Vlad desperately tried to fight back after the courageous invasion of Kiev.

Incredible footage shows Ukraine quickly repulsing Russia’s failed attempt at an armored attack on Lyptsy, Kharkiv Oblast.

A series of short clips show the beefy tanks being blasted left, right and center with pinpoint precision.

In a matter of seconds, the Ukrainian 92nd Assault Brigade managed to hit each tank and set them on fire as numerous explosions occurred on the battlefield.

One video even shows Putin’s forces running away from the box-like tank as Kiev targeted them.

Russian tanks appeared under the tortoiseshell-shaped cages after it was revealed that a humiliated Putin lost almost every tank he had when he launched his brutal invasion of Ukraine.

Since before the grim two-year milestone in Mad Vlad’s war, Russian top brass have been forced to rely on “warehouses and depots with stocks of vehicles left over from the Cold War.”

This comes after Ukrainian special forces ambushed Putin’s troops as they continued to invade the Russian countryside.

Dramatic first-person footage showed Ukraine’s valiant troops dressed in camouflage clothing as they ran through the forest hunting Putin’s men with grenades, guns and rockets.

The video shows the heavily armed soldiers attacking through trees as they approach the enemy.

What are ‘turtle tanks’?

“TURTLE tanks” generally refer to tanks with a heavily armored, low profile design resembling the shape of a turtle.

The term is not specific to a single model, but can describe several tanks known for their heavy armor and defensive capabilities.

A prominent example is the German Panzer VIII Maus, the heaviest fully enclosed armored fighting vehicle ever built.

Another is the Soviet KV-2, known for its thick armor and large turret.

The design philosophy behind these tanks focuses on maximum protection and survivability on the battlefield, often at the expense of speed and mobility.

The group of at least six men can be seen firing rapidly at Russian targets and vehicles in the war-torn region of Kursk.

Putin’s troops are then attacked with what appear to be grenades as huge explosions erupt in the fields.

A flash of light can be seen before the Ukrainian Army team begins to move.

Meanwhile, Ukraine managed to seize as much Russian land in just eight days of its mini-invasion as Putin’s forces managed in the last eight months.

Mad Vlad was furious at the continuation of the incursion as he asked the Kremlin to send more troops to Kursk to “expel the enemy”.

Ukraine’s armed forces have stormed the border in reinforced convoys, including tanks and aircraft, since the attack began on August 6.

Kiev now claims to control 74 settlements in Kusrk and a formidable 1,000 square kilometers of enemy soil as of Tuesday night.

The number is expected to continue to increase as they press ahead with their ardent war plans, says General Oleksander Syrsky.

Since the beginning of 2024, Russia has only managed to steal 994 square kilometers of land inside Ukraine, it says Telegraph analysis.

The exact amount the Kremlin managed to capture is unknown, but the US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) says Putin has taken control of an area measuring more than 1,100 square miles around Donetsk.

But estimates from the Ukrainian military indicate that Moscow also lost around 300,000 soldiers on the battlefield during this period, many of them killed or seriously injured.

Kursk has seen an increasing number of deaths as Putin’s men have difficulty halting the Ukrainian advance.

In the surprising surge, the Ukrainians are thought to have also captured up to 1,200 of their enemy soldiers, in a serious setback for Putin and a significant confidence boost for Zelensky’s forces.

Being the first Russian leader to give up his own territory since World War II left Vlad unable to put an end to the attack.

After detecting the Ukrainian attack, Russian authorities launched a significant anti-terrorism operation in the three border regions of Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod.

They brought their own troops, trucks and tanks to fight.

Every night, both sides exchanged devastating air strikes that devastated the other in the devastated area.
