Supermodel Gisele Bundchen cried after being stopped by police as she explained to the officer that she was trying to escape the paparazzi.

The 43-year-old was stopped earlier this week while driving in Surfside, Florida.

Bodycam footage shows the officer asking Bundchen roll down the window, to which she responds, “But the paparazzi are right there.”

The Brazilian then tells the police officer that she was “just trying to get away from that guy”.

“I understand who you are,” the officer responds. “There’s nothing I can do about it.”

The officer then tells her, “I’m going to give you a courtesy today.”

The mother of two, who moved to Florida after her divorce from former NFL quarterback Tom Brady, explains to the police officer that she feels like the photographer following her is “stalking” her and starts crying.

“Nothing protects me. I can’t do anything. I just want to live my life!” she sobbed.

The police officer says he can’t stop the paparazzi from “doing their job” and photographing her.

He suggests she file a report with the Miami Beach police since the incident began there.

It is unclear whether or not Bundchen filed a report.
