The grim-faced politician warned Putin about the rate at which military supplies were being provided to his troops.
He said: “There are issues that require special attention and urgent solutions, especially with regard to the provision of the most sought after services models.
“We will discuss measures that will ensure the fulfillment of the tasks of the special military operation.”
Shoigu said his forces “continue to carry out combat tasks in accordance with the plan for the special military operation” in Ukraine, although a faster supply of new modern weaponry is essential.
An increase in the speed of supply is necessary “to maintain the necessary pace of the offensive and ensure that the combat composition of troop groupings is increased for future operations,” he said.
Shoigu’s ministry said today it had “destroyed and intercepted” six Ukrainian kamikaze drones, including one over Ryazan, where the oil refinery was hit overnight.
The statement alleged that three were shot down in the Voronezh region and one each in the Belgorod and Kursk regions.
Ryazan Governor Pavel Markov said about the night raid: “According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
