A woman has won a $1 million lottery prize for the second time in 10 weeks.

The Massachusetts State Lottery revealed that Christine Wilson was the lucky ticket holder who hit the jackpot twice.

Mrs Wilson, of Attleborough, Massachusettswon his most recent prize by playing the $10 instant ticket game “100X Cash.”

In February, she won the $1 million (£796,000) first prize in the $50 (£40) “Lifetime Millions” instant ticket game.

On both occasions, she chose to receive her prize in the form of a one-off payment of $650,000 (£518,000).

When he won his first prize, Wilson said he planned to use some of his winnings to buy a new car.

She plans to put this last windfall into savings.

Wilson bought his most recent ticket at the Family Food Mart in the US town of Mansfield, and the store will receive a $10,000 (£7,900) bonus for selling the ticket, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

She bought her first $1 million winning ticket at Dubs’s Discount Liquors in the same city.
