STUNNING photos have shown the power of a unique aircraft being flown entirely by an artificial intelligence pilot.
Lockheed Martin, a military technology company, has teamed up with the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School and other partners to host an event showcasing the X-62A (Vista) variable flight simulation test aircraft.

US Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall flew the modified aircraft to test AI and autonomy capabilities.

Neither Kendall nor the safety pilot sitting in the back seat touched the controls as the X-62A displayed its autonomous capabilities.

Vista is an AI trailblazer that helps develop and test new techniques with unmanned vehicles.
The technology is created by a group of teams that installed live AI agents into the X-62A’s systems in less than a year.
