A BEAUTY model who competed in Miss Ecuador was shot dead in broad daylight after her Instagram post led killers to her location.
Landy Párraga Goyburo, 23, posted a photo of an octopus dish that helped killers track down the restaurant she was eating at.

Shocking CCTV footage showed two killers storming the premises before gunning down the model queen.
She was seen looking at the door as the killers sneaked into the premises without her noticing.
As the first assassin ran towards them, Párraga fell to the ground while the man next to her ducked for cover.
The masked attacker then opened fire, shooting both the model and the man.
He then stood over her as she lay helpless on the ground before shooting her repeatedly at close range.
Both attackers ran out the door and fled the scene.
Later footage showed the former beauty queen lying motionless on the floor in a pool of blood, with a bullet wound visible on her right thigh.
The killers are believed to have been hired by the widow of a cartel boss who had an affair with Ms. Párraga Goyburo before her violent death in prison.
Police are now investigating the murder as they try to identify the attackers.
They believe they were hired by the widow of Leandro Norero – the cartel boss who had an affair with Párraga before his violent death in prison.
In December 2023, Párraga’s name was mentioned in a chat published by the Attorney General’s Office as part of an important organized crime case that it is investigating.
One of the 52 people prosecuted in the case is Helive Angulo, who allegedly managed Norero’s assets.
In the chat, Angulo told the cartel boss that the police asked him about Párraga.
Norero responded cryptically: “If my wife finds out anything about her, I’m screwed.
“My friend, her name cannot appear anywhere. Otherwise, my world will collapse.”
Norero was killed in prison in 2022, six months after his arrest.
Money transfers made to Párraga’s bank account are under investigation by the Attorney General’s Office.
The firm never sued the beauty queen and she never publicly commented on the case.
Párraga is a former Miss Ecuador contestant and represented the province of Los Ríos in 2022.
She was also a popular social media influencer and an entrepreneur with a successful business
She often shared her lavish lifestyle on social media with her followers, showing off her travels and expensive meals at expensive restaurants.
