JOHN Marino, a beloved Elvis Duran and Morning Show cast member, has died at age 82.
Marino, better known as Uncle Johnny, died on Friday, New York City-Radio program based on advertised.
“This morning we said goodbye to our Uncle Johnny,” wrote the Z100 morning show on social media.
“Thank you for the years of laughter and jokes [cocktails]. We will miss you and love you.”
Marino family member Jack Carr paid tribute to the beloved radio personality: “Today, Uncle Johnny was welcomed into heaven at 7:25 a.m. like a beloved angel.
“For over 25 years, he has brought me endless laughter and joy.

“He has been my best friend and uncle, and his presence has been a blessing in my life.
“Throughout his 82 years on this earth, Uncle Johnny touched countless lives and left a remarkable legacy.
“He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Here’s to you, Uncle Johnny – may he rest in peace with a cold martini in his hand.”
The cause of death was not immediately released.
Marino was appreciated for his energetic personality on Elvis Duran’s morning talk show.
He would make regular appearances on the nationally syndicated program.
Marino was responsible for the program’s catchphrases, such as “Hello Lady” and “What Are Ya Bananas?”
On Fridays, the vibrant guest would be in the studio mixing creative cocktails during his regular hours.
Elvis Duran started the morning show on New York’s Z100 in 1996.
Many of the show’s original cast members, including Duran, Danielle Monaro, Skeery Jones, and Scotty B, are still on the show.
Fans of Duran’s morning show paid tribute to Marino on social media, with one writing: “I’m a taxi driver and I chose him [Marno] years ago.
“He was a wonderful, fun person. Rest in peace, Uncle Johny.”
“He brought joy to so many! May he rest in peace!” a second said.
“Goodbye, ma’am! What a pleasure to have listened to you all these years. Condolences to the entire Z100 and Elvis Duran Show family,” wrote a third.
“Rest in paradise, Uncle Johnny… Sleep in peace!! He was truly unique and brought a lot of laughs to the show!” another said.
