Police have revealed new clues about who could have killed Jeffrey Limmer, who died in a shooting at McDonald’s.
Limmer’s family has been pressing for answers amid the ongoing investigation.

The 46-year-old was shot and killed on May 4 at a McDonald’s in Houston, Texas.
Limmer reportedly saw a customer angry with employees and tried to calm the situation before it escalated.
“Using profanity and other profanity, Jeff intervened to try to calm the situation and try to calm him down,” Greg Monteverde, a longtime friend of Limmer, told the local Fox affiliate. KRIV-TV.
However, things got heated between Limmer and the other man, causing a huge fight in the parking lot.
It was revealed that Limmer pushed the suspect to the ground and then the alleged killer returned to his car and shot the lawyer.
Authorities revealed that the man in question fled the scene in a blue car from the early 2000s. Ford truck after the shooting, while Limmer succumbed to his injuries.
While police investigate the crime, Limmer’s family is still desperately searching for answers.
“If anyone knows anything, I pray they come forward and help us find this person so he doesn’t do this to someone else,” his sister, Jennifer Thomas, told the local Fox affiliate. KRIV-TV.
“The anger and evil that this person showed, I don’t want that to happen to anyone else.”

A FAMILY IN MOURNING
Since the shooting, Limmer’s loved ones have revealed that it came as a shock.
“It’s a deep punch. I know many of us are in shock,” Monteverde told KRIV.
“I feel so sorry for his family, for his sister Angie, for their father.
“They are great people and I know they are devastated. Jeff and I grew up together.

The alleged killer is on the loose and police need help finding the suspect.
Police are currently searching for the lawyer’s alleged killer.

“He was my quarterback. I call it Q1,” Monteverde said talking about his high school days.
Monteverde was proud of his childhood friend for standing up for the team when they needed it: “I thought it was brave. I respect that.”
“I think a lot of us knew Jeff was that kind of person. At school, he would invite someone who wasn’t the most popular student to a party or things like that,” he added.
Before becoming an attorney at the Houston firm of Lewis Brisbois, he graduated from the University of Texas and received his law degree from South Texas College of Law.
“He loved his family and friends intensely,” his sister told the ABC affiliate. KTRK-TV.
“Always laughing, making jokes and just loving life. Knowing Jeff, he’s the one who always says, ‘Calm down. It’s not a big deal’ and deflects the situation.
“He always wanted to fight for the little boy and do the right thing.”
Thomas revealed that Limmer once struggled with alcohol but had been sober for three years at the time of his death.
“Jeff has truly become the man he was meant to be. There are valleys in life,” says Thomas.
“You hate to see your loved ones go through this, but it’s when they come out the other side that you can see the man, you can see the woman that God intended them to be.”
