DEFIANT teacher Olena Kurylo refuses to be intimidated by Vladimir Putin’s latest attack on her city.
Olena, 54, became the “face of war” after Russian troops attacked Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, in 2022.

Now it is again under attack by kamikaze missiles and drones.
But Olena, whose house was destroyed in the 2022 blitz, said: “The mental, ugly and powerless old man, the crazy maniac Putin, who tries to prolong his life by sucking the blood of others, will receive nothing from us.
“We have to face it.
“Even if the walls of my bathroom, where I spent so many nights, are the last thing I will see.”
Russia claimed to have hit military targets.
But damage was caused to residential areas.
An 11-year-old girl and a 72-year-old woman were injured.
