CLEVELAND (WJW) — It’s time once again to celebrate the mothers and maternal figures in your life a little more.

This year, Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, May 12, and there are many ways to celebrate the entire weekend in Northeast Ohio.

If you’re looking for a special way to celebrate your mom this year, we have a few ideas to check out:

Mother’s Day Event at Tower City Center

Head to Tower City Center with the kids on Mother’s Day, Saturday, May 11, for a magical day filled with events, giveaways and more!

There will be events to attend from 12pm to 4pm, including a free bouquet and coffee, meet-and-greet Disney princesses, enchanted tea and “mommy and me” photo opportunities.

Head to the Imposters Theater in Cleveland on Saturday, May 11th to celebrate moms! Six Imposters Theater artists will perform with your mother or child. Gates open at 5:30 pm and the show starts at 6 pm. Tickets cost R$10 in advance and R$15 on the day of the show.

City Goods: Mother’s Day Municipal Market

Celebrate your mom at City Market at City Goods on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be local musicians, craft cocktails, local treats, and vendors to explore!

The Municipal Market at City Goods is held on the second Saturday of each month, from May to October.

Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens

All mothers get free entry to take a self-guided tour of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens this Mother’s Day, May 12th.

Gifts are available at Molly’s Shop and Molly’s Courtyard Cafe is open with savory and sweet options for lunch and snacks.

Akron Zoo

All mothers and grandmothers receive free entry to Arkon Zoo on Sunday, May 12th. The zoo is open that day from 10am to 5pm.

Cleveland Zoo

Moms can enter the zoo for free on Mother’s Day, May 12, courtesy of CrossCountry Mortgage. The zoo will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mother’s Day at the Cleveland Aquarium

The Cleveland Aquarium will celebrate mothers on Mother’s Day weekend! Visitors will be able to learn fascinating facts about animal parents, participate in parent-themed trivia, and earn a “fin-tastic” parent badge

Visiting mothers, stepmothers, adoptive mothers and grandparents will save $5 at the box office on May 11 and 12 when purchasing another adult or child ticket. The Cleveland Aquarium will be open extended hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cedar Point

Opening day for the 2024 season will be May 4th, just in time for all the thrill-seeking moms out there.

Hofbrauhaus Cleveland

Hofbrauhaus Cleveland is offering a Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 12th from 9am to 6pm. There will be a buffet, as well as a craft station for children to make gifts for their mothers.
