See hail from the storm that passed through Vero Beach on Saturday afternoon

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Pebble-sized hail fell Saturday afternoon in south Vero Beach as a strong line of thunderstorms swept through the area.

The hail was recorded around 4pm and lasted around 10 minutes. Strong wind, rain and thunderstorms followed the hailstorm. Total rainfall amounts were not immediately available Saturday afternoon.

A heat warning was in effect until 8pm across the Treasure Coast. The heat index was expected to be as high as 110 degrees.
