Police say a man stole a necklace from a 4-year-old girl’s neck at a Cobb County laundromat.
They have since managed to return the necklace to the child.
Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell spoke exclusively with the child’s mother, who said that the man was aggressive towards her daughter.
Magdalena Enriquez said she was inside a laundromat on South Cobb Drive, putting clothes in the washing machine, when her daughter ran up to her screaming and crying.

Enriquez initially thought someone had tried to kidnap her daughter.
In fact, a man stole the Virgin Mary’s chain that was around her neck.
“The suspect was essentially luring the child with a chair,” Detective Jonathan Janke said.
Moments later, police said Jose Noyola stole the gold chain from around the girl’s neck, hovering over her for several seconds.
