So much for honest Abe.

Blake Masters has dealt what could/should be a mortal blow to his former America First running mate by leaking a text exchange from January 2023 in which Abe Hamadeh mocked the “nuts” who believe the election was stolen.

“I’m great. No matter what happens, I’m winning now,” Hamadeh wrote. “I’m not confused with crazy people with electoral issues because I’m very close to 280. But the crazy people love it because they see me fighting.

“Win, win.”

Hamadeh wonders who will ‘fall for this rubbish’

Blake Masters and Abe Hamadeh, U.S. House candidates running in Arizona’s 8th congressional district following incumbent Republican Rep. Debbie Lesko’s announcement in October 2023 that she would not run for re-election.

No reaction yet from the two main weirdos, Donald Trump and Kari Lake, both of whom endorsed Hamadeh in his candidacy for Congress.

Hamadeh, in turn, tried to put out the fire with the old “out of context” spin.

“This is a joke?” he askedin response to a Daily Mail report on the leaked text exchange.

“@AbrahamHamadeh filed three lawsuits, received hundreds of thousands of dollars in sanctions, and was dragged by the press as an ‘election denier,’ and Masters leaks private texts out of context to suggest Abe doesn’t believe the election was stolen?”

“Does Masters think anyone will fall for this crap?”

Well, yes.

Hamadeh then tried to divert attention from the fact that, in private, he called election deniers “crazy”, while publicly piggybacking on his phobia, in order to increase his political prospects.

Kari Lake also tries to deflect the damage

“’Friend’ turned snake, Blake Masters, texted between us to the media and thought I was on vacation with my brother-in-law, Jeff Ayres, in Thailand in a Muay Thai fight, was interesting,” he said in a social media postreferring to a selfie of the fight he attached to the text exchange.

Lake’s campaign attempted the same detour.

“It looked like you guys were having fun! Happy Warriors also go on vacation!” O Lake Kari War Room published on the social networks.

Lake refuses to debate Lamb: What an insult to voters

To be fair, I doubt Hamadeh is the first MAGite to publicly bow before the altar of Trump while privately laughing at the rednecks who are buying stolen election propaganda. (And more recently, buying blue MAGA hats and gold Trump shoes, and Trump Bibles and…)

I, for one, can’t wait to see what happens in Lake’s private communications, the ones she will have to reveal in discovery as a result of the defamation of Stephen Richer of Maricopa County.

As for Hamadeh, he will have a hard time explaining to his base why he called them crazy.

Advantage Masters, but he’s not the real winner

For now, it’s a plus for Masters in the crowded northwest Valley GOP race to replace Rep. Debbie Lesko.

As for state House Speaker Ben Toma, a candidate who actually lives in the district and has a record of conservative accomplishments?
