Mike Tyson is recovering after falling ill during a flight, his representatives said.
The 58-year-old former heavyweight champion “became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing” on Sunday, his publicist’s office said in a statement.
“Thankfully Mr. Tyson “It’s very good,” the statement says.
“He thanks the medical staff who were there to help him.”
First responders were dispatched to American Airlines Flight 1815 from Miami as it landed at Los Angeles International Airport “due to the medical needs of a customer,” according to a statement from the airline.
Tyson is due to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, 27, on July 20 at the 80,000-seat home of the Dallas Cowboys.
