On May 28, 2024, Pastor Jamal Bryant announced his engagement to Karri Turner.

He made the announcement at his church and also shared a news video On Instagram.

He said, “I am very grateful to God that she has consented to be my wife,” before introducing Karri to the church stage.

Karri is a Christian motivational speaker.

According to her websiteshe is “a nationally and internationally award-winning speaker with a specific focus on women in ministry and business.”

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Morris Brown College.

Karri later earned a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology.

In 2023, he obtained a Doctorate in Ministry with a concentration in leadership and Christian renewal.

Who is Jamal Bryant?

Jamal Bryant is senior pastor at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

He was born in Boston in 1971 to a bishop father and a reverend mother.

His grandfather, Harrison Bryant, was also an African Methodist Episcopal bishop.

Jamal graduated from Morehouse College and Duke University.

He also received his Doctorate of Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation, with a Doctorate of Theology from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

Jamal led the funeral of Freddie Gray, who suffered a fatal spinal cord injury in 2015 when he was arrested and beaten by police.

He has also advocated for social justice issues such as the Black Lives Matter movement and seeking justice for Breonna Taylor.

“The movement is growing! We not only want criminal justice reform, but also economic equality,” he wrote on Instagram in August 2020.

The pastor has a net worth of $500,000.

In addition to being a pastor, he is a businessman and has investments in the communications sector.

He runs a nationally televised show called Got Power? as well as an international radio broadcast called Power 4 Life.

Its live Sunday services are known for attracting thousands of internet users and registered members for its daily motivating voice and text messages.

Who is Jamal Bryant’s ex-wife Gizelle?

From 2002 to 2009, Jamal was married to The Real Housewives Of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant.

The couple welcomed three children, including a daughter named Grace and twin girls named Adore and Angel.

At the time of the separation, their daughters were three and two years old.

The couple split after rumors surfaced that Jamal was unfaithful and had children out of wedlock.

Gizelle addressed the rumors in Bravotv. with: “…I addressed this on his social media.

“I said it’s a lie, and clearly we’re very important if people make up these lies.”

Jamal has another child with another woman. His eldest daughter is named Topaz and was born in 1998.

Although they are no longer married, the former couple has stayed in touch while they are parents and even reunited on the Bravo show.

They rekindled their romance in 2019 before splitting for good in 2021.

Gizelle commented on Jamal’s engagement post. She wrote: “Congratulations! Very happy for you”.
