AT LEAST 28 people have died, including children, after a bus plunged into a ravine in Pakistan.
The passenger bus left the road after one of its tires burst, causing the driver to lose control.
Horrifying footage shows the wreckage of the bus after it fell off the bridge on Wednesday.
According to reports, Pakistani authorities said that 22 more were injured following the accident.
The tragic accident happened in Washuk, western Pakistan, this morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and took the injured to a nearby hospital.
Around 22 of these people later succumbed to their injuries.
Some who are in critical condition had to be taken to another hospital in the large city of Quetta.
Images from the scene show the overturned bus lying in the embankment.
The bus was taking people from Gwadar to Quetta.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif shared his condolences with the families of those who died.
