IRAN’s tyrannical Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei sent a chilling letter to American college students supporting them in protests against the war in Gaza.
The radical dictator expressed his “empathy and solidarity” with protesters for unleashing a hateful anti-Israel movement on major university campuses, asserting that they are “on the right side of history.”

In his bizarre letter, Khamenei told the students that they had now formed a “branch of the Resistance Front” against what he said was the blatant oppression of Palestinians.
Khamenei’s message, published on X, formerly Twitter, received widespread reaction from people who accused the Islamic dictator of brutal human rights violations.
The regime under the theocratic leadership of Khamenei has increasingly oppressed Iran’s young population through various campaigns launched to silence them.
These include hundreds of executions and a massive crackdown on dissent.
The ruthless despot in his letter praised the students for speaking out against Israel and even praised the support they received from university professors as a “consequential development” for the anti-Israel campaign.
He wrote: “Dear college students of the United States of America, this message expresses our empathy and solidarity with you. As the page of history turns, you are on the right side.”
Khamenei, who has been widely accused of oppressing his own people – especially women – went on to say that the aim of these protests is to stop Israel’s “terrorist network” that has subjected Palestinians to the harshest atrocities.
Calling the anti-Israel protests at top American universities an “honorable fight,” the despot added that a “different destiny” awaits Palestine.
He said that more and more people are becoming aware of the conflict and that “the truth is coming to light.”
“The Resistance Front has grown stronger and will become even stronger… a different fate awaits [Palestine].”
Khamenei even offered some advice to American students protesting Israel – asking them to “become more familiar with the Quran.”
Since April, thousands of students have been arrested during painful anti-Israel protests on America’s major college campuses – including New York University and Columbia University.
Many Jewish students, as well as faculty members, have complained that they do not feel safe – and the protests have forced them to leave campuses.
Dame Karen Pierce, Britain’s top diplomat in the United States, previously said she feared hate-filled pro-Palestine protests could hit the nation’s universities.
Speaking to The Sun’s political editor Harry Cole on a special US edition of our Never Mind The Ballots programme, Karen spoke out as demonstrations led to a wave of disorder and arrests while Jewish students faced anti-Semitic harassment.
Criticizing Khamenei’s provocative letter, one social media user wrote: “Lessons about oppression from [Khamenei] It’s a little too much. In their own country, women lack basic rights and freedom and face a lot of oppression.”
While another added: “Instead of interfering in the affairs of other nations, the leader should focus on his own country, where people are executed daily.”
KINGDOM OF TERROR
Iran has seen a huge increase in human rights violations, suppression of democratic activism, support for terrorism, warmongering and threats to global stability.
Over the past year, Iranian authorities have committed a series of horrific crimes to eliminate any challenge to their iron grip on power.
These include hundreds of unlawful killings, tens of thousands of arbitrary detentions, widespread torture, including rape of detainees, and widespread harassment of families of victims who call for truth and justice, Amnesty International reports.
In October, a teenager in Tehran was fatally injured by the Morality Police – Iran’s Islamic squad that defends its religious morals – when she tried to ride the subway to school without wearing a headscarf.
The incident once again reminded the Iranian public of the frightening case of Mahsa Amini – the 22-year-old girl who was beaten to death by Hijab officers in 2022.
Violent protests broke out across Iran and protesters clashed with police, throwing rocks and bottles, as well as setting fires in several cities.
BELICITY
Iran has been considered the largest state sponsor of terrorism and the regime’s ruthless terrorist arm, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has been accused of carrying out global terrorist attacks.
For decades, the country has fomented terrorism and supported conflicts in the region through its proxy war groups, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Reports seen by The Sun showed the main location where the IRGC has been providing naval training to the Houthis.
And while Israel continues its brutal offensive that is destroying the bombed Gaza Strip, Iranian proxies continue to unleash hell behind the scenes.
Former British colonel Richard Kemp has warned that the West “must attack” Iran’s murderous terrorist army now.
The former army officer told The Sun: “It is deeply worrying what Iran is doing across the region, and even beyond… brewing and supporting the conflict.”
He said nuclear-capable Iran “only understands force” – and military action will be the quickest way to end the crisis in the Middle East, which threatens to explode into all-out war.
