Chilling footage shows an abandoned resort hotel with broken, moldy beds and dilapidated walls covered in graffiti after being left untouched for 14 years.
Once a luxury vacation spot near Disney World, the Orlando Sun Resort is now a shell than it was before, when it began to rot and decay a few years after it closed due to “serious financial problems”.

Since 2010, almost no one has set foot in the mysterious resort except graffiti artists and curious explorers.
Urban explorer Dave, known as Freaktography online, was one of the brave people to enter through the rusty gates as he filmed his shocking discovery.
From the moment you pass through the park entrance, you come across graffiti on the welcome sign.
The harrowing words “lonely world” are emblazoned across it, with the overgrown gardens in front making an unpleasant first impression.
Inside, the dust-filled large hall is littered with debris from torn down walls while tables and chairs were left scattered around the room.
Above, the roof can be seen crumbling with mold and dirt crawling up the sides of the gray walls.
More obscene graffiti was drawn inside, matching the destroyed landscape.
Weeds can be seen sprouting throughout the grounds while the luxury suites left behind epitomize the resort’s decline,
Furniture has been left behind, as old, dirty mattresses and sofas take up space both in the rooms and on the surrounding lawns.
The walls turned black as beams and poles began to erode.
Even the balconies reserved for the wealthiest guests went from a clean white color to a rusty brown mess.
One of the saddest parts of the complex’s rich history that has been left to disintegrate over time is the flashy poolside area.
The place that used to welcome thousands of people playing in the sun every day has turned into a pit of despair.
The water in the pool turned a dark green, with broken glass and ceramics thrown in the trash around the pool decomposing.
A SAD DECLINE
Originally built in the 1970s, the sprawling complex was initially known as the Hyatt Orlando Resort.
It had more than 3,400 chic hotel rooms and a huge convention center where thousands of people gathered throughout the year.
With unique octagon-shaped buildings, it was considered futuristic and modern in the 1970s.
One of the biggest attractions for guests was its prime location, just steps from Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida.
This made it a peak tourist center as families would Photograph Check into one of the many rooms at the Hyatt Orlando Resort before heading to the iconic playground for days of fun.
At its bright, bustling best, the hotel was one of the largest in Florida, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough.

In the late 1990s, she ran into trouble when her estate was transferred from millionaire to millionaire, all trying to take advantage of Disney’s success.
In 2007, it was renamed the Orlando Sun Resort and underwent a $1 million renovation.
But it finally failed to attract enough visitors in 2010 and ended up closing for good.
Today, it remains a ghostly monument to its former glory and has been left alone in a grim state.
Nature began to reclaim the property, transforming it into a mysterious and silent reminder of the past.

Explorer Dave said Daily luxury travel: “The resort’s glory days were short-lived. It struggled to attract guests and by 2002 was in serious financial trouble.
“The local tourism economy was collapsing and Walt Disney World visitors preferred to stay on Disney properties.
“It began to suffer financial difficulties due to poor management, increasing competition and the Orlando Sun Resort closed its doors.
“The team left and nature began to reclaim the property, transforming it into a mysterious and silent reminder of the past.”
It was reportedly purchased in 2021 by a New York company that received a donation to improve the site.
However, no work has been done to date and nothing has been planned.
