Jolie filed for divorce Pitt in September 2016, but the details of the divorce have not yet been finalized.

The actors, who married in August 2014, have filed lawsuits against each other in recent years over disagreements over their shared businesses and properties, including a winery in France.

Jolie accused Pitt of being “He emotionally and physically abuses” the actress and her childrenaccording to court documents from October 2022.

She claimed that a series of violent incidents occurred during a plane trip in September 2016, which ultimately led her to file for divorce.

The allegations, which Pitt strongly denied at the time, were originally made during a custody battle but emerged in a cross-complaint from Jolie as part of the former couple’s ongoing legal dispute.

Although the claims were made at the time of the divorce, they were contained in a redacted FBI report.

At the time, a representative for Pitt, who was not authorized to speak publicly, strongly denied Jolie’s allegations, calling them “another rehash that only harms the family.”

A judge gave Pitt 50-50 custody of the children after a closed-door trial in which the allegations were aired, but an appeals court later disqualified the private judge for failing to disclose potential conflicts of interest after a motion of Jolie, overturning the decision.

Their divorce case has not yet been finalized and financial and custody issues remain unresolved.
