A PUTIN fanatical pop star is under investigation for her cheeky appearance on stage at a concert marking Children’s Protection Day.
Russian singer Olga Buzova, 38, was criticized for “dressing like a dominatrix” at the event which was attended by children and their families.
Regional lawmaker Rustem Akhmadinurov condemned their “shocking and inadequate” performance, which he said showed a challenge to the region’s traditions.
Meanwhile, Putin’s “moral guardian”, Ekaterina Mizulina, fumed: “It’s as if we live in two parallel worlds – on the one hand, there is the special military operation and a civil war in Ukraine, people are dying.
“On the other hand, part of society continues to live in another world and promote values that are disappearing into the past.”
She compared Buzova’s appearance to a “nearly naked” celebrity party denounced by Putin in Moscow last year.
Mizulina – who has been romantically linked to Putin, 71, in recent months – insisted: “The whole country has been living differently for a long time. We moved.”
However, Buzova denounced the “almost naked” party – when a famous rapper appeared with a sock covering his manhood – and praised dictator Putin, telling fans that she found him attractive.
“I like strong men like our president,” she said.
“At the same time he was an ideal for me.
“I think a lot of girls fell in love with the head of our incredible country.”
Mizulina, 39, said Buzova went too far by appearing on stage in Ufa, a predominantly Muslim city in Russia, despite her appearance being praised by the local mayor.
“Buzova appeared on stage in an extremely revealing outfit,” complained Mizulina.
“All of this was watched by a large number of children and teenagers.
“The residents of the region are very indignant about this situation. And I agree with them
“Why provoke people like that?
“Especially in a region where there are many believers? To annoy them? I do not understand this.”
Russian war analyst Sergei Mardan blamed authorities for organizing his presentation.
But another saw her dressed as a dominatrix while children watched.
Another said the performance was “depraved”.
Russia’s Investigative Committee – responsible for investigating serious crimes – is examining Buzova’s performance following a series of complaints on a day when Russia traditionally marks the importance of protecting children.
