The country’s special services “increased the already stringent security measures surrounding President Vladimir Putin to an unprecedented degree,” The Moscow Times reports.

The Kremlin is on “redoubled alert regarding the invasion of Ukraine – but is also “shaken” by recent attacks on high-ranking politicians in Europe and Asia.

A Russian source told the media outlet: “The Kremlin takes Vladimir Putin’s security very seriously.

“He is protected by a whole army of visible and invisible guards.”

The report claims the 71-year-old tyrant has been wearing armor at outdoor events “since at least 2023.”

“He has done so under the strong recommendation of the Presidential Security Service (SBP), a unit of the Federal Guard Service (FSO) that protects the president,” the official said. The Moscow Timesciting one of his sources.

Putin wore the armor under his coat during a grand appearance on May 9 in Red Square, when he presided over the annual Victory Day military parade celebrating Hitler’s defeat, the report said.

This is an event where your security is highly visible and snipers are present on the square’s rooftops.

Footage of Vlad walking with former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu appears to show him momentarily uncomfortable in the supposed body armor.

“This year, on May 9, the chief [Putin] was clearly wearing concealed armor during the parade. And this precaution, I believe, is necessary,” said an official.

Poland will be wiped off the map in 10 MINUTES with two nuclear weapons eviscerating every city, Putin’s puppet warns in chilling video

“God protects the cautious,” said a second.

The news agency also cited Jade Miller, described as an independent British hostile environment and high-risk security consultant, who examined in detail footage of Putin at the Victory Day parade.

She concluded that he was indeed wearing a bulletproof vest.

“Putin appears to walk quite stiffly and there are no natural creases appearing on the back of his overcoat when he walks and shakes hands with military personnel,” Miller said.

The consultant went on to explain how the upper body “doesn’t look natural and the shoulders look quite broad and square, not showing the shape of the back and shoulder blades.”

At one point, “a part of his overcoat appears to get caught in what could be a ballistic vest.”

The day was unusually cold for the time of year and many participants wore extra clothing.

But Putin “appears to lift and adjust his shoulders in a way that shows discomfort because of the way a ballistic vest is designed to sit on the shoulders or collarbone,” she concluded.

The weight of this armor can cause discomfort and irritation when worn for an extended period of time.

The British expert concluded that Putin kept his overcoat securely fastened and was “seen… checking that it is closed, as if he was trying to ensure that no one could see underwear.”

She concluded: “In my professional opinion, Putin is using some type of ballistic protection during his time participating in the parade.”

On May 9, several security officers were visible, especially when he presented the laying of wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the nearby Alexander Garden under the Kremlin Wall.

Some carried portable armor designed like briefcases; entire officers probably also carried their nuclear briefcase with codes for launching atomic missiles.

Andrei Soldatov, co-founder of the Russian secret service Agentura.ru, said: “Putin is a unique leader in that he usually agrees to increased security/expansion of the security perimeter when his guards request it.

“Normally, other leaders tend to be in constant conflict with their guards, but not Putin.

“He almost always agrees to your demands. And now, I think he’s agreeing with them.”

The paranoid Putin has often been seen flanked by bodyguards on high alert – even when he is among “trusted” friends.

TREMENDOUS TIRANTO

According to one of his former guards, Putin lives in constant fear of being assassinated and does not trust his own employees.

Vitaly Brizhatiy was said to be a member of Putin’s security team at a previously undisclosed residence used by Vlad in Crimea.

Speaking to one of the few independent Russian TV stations, Brizhatiy provided some insight into Vlad’s growing paranoia.

The former guard, who was allegedly responsible for the dogs on Vlad’s property, left Russia and currently lives in Ecuador.

The chief guard dog trainer told how [Putin’s] The presence in the vast palace “is hidden even from his own staff.

They are told he is there, but he may not be…

“He doesn’t trust his own people.

“He only trusts a select circle of people close to him…

“People who check out the place he is about to visit, or who stay near him, are sent to quarantine [for as long as 3 weeks].

“This is happening constantly, even today.”

When he arrives, false information is routinely circulated about the airport he will travel to – and he may then come by sea.

Brizhatiy said: “This is how a person fears for his life.”

Before his fraudulent re-election earlier this year, footage of Putin’s speech revealed telltale signs of his assassination fears amid rumors about his split personality.

As Putin attended a meeting with supporters in Moscow, a bodyguard carrying an armored shield stood ready to take the stage and protect him.

The man – dressed all in black – is seen holding a briefcase which unfolds on the bulletproof shield.

Putin addressed around 550 “trusted” supporters who will speak for him during his election campaign.

Even among friends, his security was evidently nervous, especially when audience members stood up to speak.
