AMANDA Knox was seen in tears as she returned to court to overturn a libel conviction relating to the 2007 murder of a British student.
The American activist spent almost four years behind bars in Italy after being wrongly convicted of the murder of Meredith Kercher.
The slander case is the last case pending against Knox following Kercher’s death.
Knox said on X this week: “I hope to clear my name once and for all of the false accusations against me.”
The American was 20 when she and her then-Italian boyfriend were arrested for Kercher’s brutal murder.
