EX SPEAKS

Hunter’s ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, told jurors Wednesday that she learned her ex-husband was using drugs in July 2015 after finding a crack pipe in their Washington D.C. home.

Buhle took the stand Wednesday during the third day of Hunter’s trial and described her ex’s behavior as “angry and moody” when he was high.

“He recognized smoke crack,” said Buhle, 55.

She testified that she was worried he would start using drugs again after being kicked out of the Navy in 2014 for testing positive for cocaine.

Buhle, who was married to Hunter from 1993 to 2017, said she would search his car before he left it to his daughters.

Could Hunter Biden Go to Prison?

Will Trachman, general counsel at the Mountain States Legal Foundation, told The US Sun that it is difficult to say whether Biden could be convicted.

The trial takes place in Delaware, where the Biden name “has come a long way,” Trachman said.

Because of this, he believes many jurors may be willing to cut him some slack, however, given the evidence presented in the case thus far, the trial could go either way.

Judge Maryellen Noreika is known for being impartial, Trachman said. Therefore, if Biden is convicted, given his age and status as a first-time offender, Trachman believes he will receive a light sentence.

However, due to the seriousness of the alleged crimes, Trachman also believes Biden could serve prison time.

“When my daughters used his car… I would check,” she said.

Sometimes she would find a broken pipe, pipe cleaner, white powder and other drug paraphernalia in his car.

Buhle also testified that Hunter socialized with friends and family while in drugs but I tried to hide it.

“Did you see him, for lack of a better word, function,” asked the prosecutor Lion Sage asked.

Buhle replied, “Yes.”

After finding the crack pipe, Buhle testified that he left the couple’s home, but added that he never saw Hunter using it. drugs.

LOVER’S SISTER-IN-LAW

Hunter’s brief romance with Hallie Olivere Biden, widow of his brother Beau, who died of brain cancer on May 30, 2015, is expected to be explored by the prosecution.

Hallie found a gun in Hunter’s truck on October 23, 2018, 11 days after he bought it, and threw it away.

“You did take it from me… are you crazy?” Hunter wrote in a text to Hallie after learning she threw the gun away.

“This is not a game. And you are being totally irresponsible and unbalanced.

“Tell me now, this is very serious,” Hunter wrote.

Hunter has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

His trial in Delaware is expected to last a week and, if convicted, he could face 25 years in prison. prison.
