DONALD Trump shared with Dr. Phil the strains the hush money trial has placed on his wife Melania, while also praising his youngest son Barron.
In the former president’s first interview since the historic trial, Trump shared how much this all affected him.
“It’s certainly not a good thing. It affects me more than it would if it was just about me,” he told the TV personality.
When Dr. Phil asked how Melania was doing, Trump responded, “I think it’s good, but I don’t think it’s easy for her — she sees me fighting like hell and trying to make America great again.”
While discussing a range of topics with the talk show host, Trump also spoke of his 18-year-old son Barron.
“He’s a tall kid, really tall and he’s a great kid, he’s a good-looking kid and he’s going to college,” he said.

“He doesn’t say that because he doesn’t want to hurt me, but it has to affect my family. I have good children, I have a wonderful wife – it’s not easy for her to read about these things, this is false – false things.”
