VLADIMIR Putin’s secret daughters have made a rare public appearance, with some speculating it could be part of a Kremlin plan to establish life after the tyrant.

The two women were seen at a crucial forum this week, the first major event both daughters have attended, supposedly to get them to rub shoulders with Russia’s elites before their despot father dies.

Due to the highly unusual nature of Putin’s daughters appearing so publicly, experts have suggested that this may be part of a grand plan to cement the family’s place in society in the long term.

Putin’s children, Maria Vorontsova, 39, and Katerina Tikhonova, 37, are from his first marriage to Lyudmila Shkrebneva, a former Aeroflot hostess whom he divorced in 2013.

Throughout his long and treacherous political career, Putin has always kept his children out of the spotlight.

Never allowing them to be seen in real life, rarely in photos and barely speaking a word about them.

With even Russia’s state media being banned from reporting on his daughter’s connection to him.

Their wealth, their freedom, their happiness and their livelihood – all of this is tied to the fate of the dictator, and so they are committed to ensuring that the system lasts beyond their lifetime.

But on Thursday and Friday they appeared on panels at Russia’s main annual business summit, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Putin also gave a great speech at the event.

But, typical of the paranoid Putin, he refused to publicly acknowledge their presence.

Younger sister Tikhonova, a technology executive, spoke on a panel about the defense industry boosting Russia’s “technological sovereignty.”

She said in her opening speech, broadcast via video conference: “State sovereignty is one of the key themes of recent years, it is the basis of Russia’s security.”

PLANNING AHEAD

However, the pair have gradually come into the public eye, which experts argue is about consolidating their position within the Russian elite – even if Putin ends up leaving office.

Dr. Ben Noble, associate professor of Russian politics at University College London, said: “The issue of succession It’s not just for the dictator, it’s also for the most senior members of the elite.

“Their wealth, their freedom, their happiness and their livelihood – all of this is tied to the fate of the dictator and so they are committed to ensuring that the system lasts beyond their lifetime.”

Ekaterina Schulmann, a political scientist, told Bloomberg News agency that Putin’s allies were interested in getting their children “into the system.”

But both women have faced sanctions from the US and UK in recent years as authorities believe they are hoarding their father’s wealth.

Who are Putin’s daughters?

Putin and his ex-wife Lyudmila married in 1983, when she was a flight attendant and he was a KGB officer, and had two children – Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova.

The marriage lasted 30 years, spanning Putin’s rapid rise to the top of the Russian political system.

Tikhonova started out as an acrobatic dancer in her youth, before leading a major new Russian artificial intelligence initiative.

She even managed to perform during the 2013 Rock ‘n’ Roll World Championships and was married to Russia’s youngest billionaire, Kirill Shamalov, before her parents divorced.

She later began dating German dancer Igor Zelensky.

Vorontsova, who has built a career in medical research, discussed innovation in biodiversity.

According to reports, she is a specialist in dwarfism and is married to a Dutch businessman, Jorrit Faassen, with whom she has a family.

In June 2020, previously unseen photos of Putin’s daughters as teenagers emerged from the private collection of a distant friend.

They were released as part of a $15 million legal case brought against the Russian state by former Putin confidant Sergei Pugachev.

In 2015, Putin spoke about his children for one of the only times in his presidential tenure, saying: “My daughters live in Russia and studied only in Russia, I am proud of them.

“They speak three foreign languages fluently. I never talk about my family with anyone.

“Each person has the right to their destiny, lives their own life and does so with dignity.”

Putin may also be grooming his alleged secret nine-year-old son for power as he plans a dynastic succession, according to a bombshell new claim.

According to a bizarre new theory, Putin is said to want to continue ruling Russia until his undisclosed and hidden son, Ivan, turns 18 and hands him the reins of the Kremlin as the country’s new czar.

This would involve changing the Russian constitution – which Putin has had no problem editing before – which states that a president must be over 35 years old.

The strange claim comes from Russian lawyer, former deputy and political analyst Mark Feigin, 52, who once represented the iconic anti-Putin punk band Pussy Riot.

Speaking to Ukrainian TV presenter Dmitry Gordon, who last week grilled Boris Johnson in Kiev, claimed that Putin has two young children with his long-time gymnast lover Alina Kabaeva, 40.

He is also said to have another supposed secret DJ daughter, Luiza Rozova – a child he is rumored to share with cleaning lady turned multi-millionaire bank owner, Svetlana Krivonogikh, 48.
