TSM Metal Works building new factory in Cumberland County

June 10 – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and officials from TSM Metal Works announced that the company will expand by locating new operations in Upper Cumberland.

TSM will invest $500,000 and create 20 new jobs in Cumberland County through the project.

TSM is owned by a fourth-generation California manufacturing company, and the move to Crossville represents the company’s first expansion outside of the state. Upon completion, the TSM facility will be 30,000 square feet and will serve TSM’s metal fabrication customers both locally and nationwide.

Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster said the company will be located on the county’s Plateau Road.

“We are excited for TSM to locate the family-owned business here in Cumberland County. They will provide skilled jobs as well as needed services in our community. Cumberland County is open for business and we welcome this new investment,” Foster said. .

Founded in 2023, TSM Metal Works is a family-owned, full-service metal fabrication company that provides powder coating to a variety of industries, including backyard projects, construction, agriculture, and equipment manufacturing.

Since 2020, TNECD has supported nearly 30 economic development projects in the Upper Cumberland region, resulting in approximately 2,800 job commitments and $870 million in capital investment.

McWhorter.
