YOUTUBER Ben Potter, known as Comicstorian online, has died, his wife announced in a statement.

Nathalie Potter announced the death of her husband Ben on X, formerly Twitter.

“To many of you, he was a Comicstorian, expressing stories in many different mediums. To his loved ones, he was one of the best, most supportive people anyone could ask for. As a husband, son, brother, friend, or even just a strangely, Ben was loving and genuine,” said Nathalie.

Fans are rushing to the comments to pay tribute to the Comicstorian with one writing: “I trashed one of the few YouTube channels I actually liked. You seemed like an amazing guy, I’m so sorry for your loss.”

“RIP Benny. We will miss you dearly. Your knowledge of comics was excellent, your love for them was palpable. You had a great presentation style and made videos that were easy to watch, interesting and fun. All the best, my friend,” another wrote.

Nathalie added that he was in an “unfortunate accident,” although the official cause of death is unclear at this time.
