THIS is the moment a helicopter lands on Mark Zuckerberg’s ship off Mallorca as the Meta boss takes luxury travel to the next level.

Incredible footage shows the red helicopter descending on Zuck’s support ship, only to be dwarfed by his monstrous superyacht coming into view.

It is understood the Facebook mogul will flock to the Spanish hotspot on holiday to enjoy his new big boy toys.

It is Mark’s first visit to Mallorca as he tries to secretly introduce his new boats to the island. Majorca Daily Bulletin reports.

The mega ship, nicknamed Launchpad, docked last week at Club de Mar in Palma, one of the island’s most prestigious private marinas.

Also moored next to the marina is the yacht support vessel, Wingman, estimated to cost $30 million.

It is assumed that both ships have already left Palma and are off Santa Posa.

A fellow boat owner shared exclusive images with The Sun showing the 387ft-long yacht’s navy blue steel hull gleaming in the Mallorcan sun.

Another clip shows the stunning boat with its luxurious interiors lit up at night.

The boat’s owner, Yannick, from Sailing Tour in Mallorcait’s docked a few boats away from Launchpad and can’t get past the “unreal” yacht.

He told The Sun: “It arrived on Thursday quietly and over the last few days we have seen a lot of crew cleaning the outer hull and doing general maintenance.

“We see a lot of big superyachts, but this one is of an unrealistic standard.

“When you pass Mark’s yacht, you see the cruise boats and wonder which one is bigger.”

Yannick believes the Facebook boss spends around $80,000 a day on his boat, as the expected operating cost could be around 10% per year on the purchase price.

Zuck had his eye on the ultra-luxury ship for some time when he was spotted strolling around the boat then known as Project 1010 during its construction in March.

Project 1010 made its maiden voyage from the Netherlands after receiving special permission to be imported just weeks before Zuckerberg’s birthday on May 14, raising questions about whether it could be a gift to mark the occasion.

But £300 million plus yacht maintenance costs is no problem for Zuckerberg, 39, as he was the youngest billionaire to appear in the world’s top 10 richest people.

In 2021, Zuckerberg was reportedly worth $108 billion, an amount that rose to $138.4 billion in January 2024.

Zuckerberg is hardly known for saving money when faced with big purchases.

In December 2021, it was reported that Zuckerberg was opening an estimated $270 million, 57,000-square-foot doomsday bunker.

Plans for the structure include filling the football field-sized space with 30 rooms, elevators, a swimming pool, sauna, tennis court and full gym.

Launchpad is more than 118 meters long and has a registered tonnage of more than five thousand tons.

This magnificent ship, valued at 300 million dollars, was built by the prestigious Feadship shipyard in the Netherlands and delivered this year.

It can accommodate 26 guests and a crew of 50.

The yacht’s exquisite design, with a navy blue steel hull and white aluminum superstructure, is the creation of Espen Oeino, a renowned company in the maritime sector.

Luxurious and extensive facilities on board include cinema, beach club area, beauty centre, teak deck solarium and helicopter.

The supership can reach 24 knots and has innovative features such as underwater lights and GPS anchoring.

It also has autonomy in maritime navigation.

Launchpad’s four diesel engines are the main contributors to its incredible speed and are necessary for long journeys such as transatlantic voyages.

It differs from many modern yachts with this feature, which often prioritizes different features.
