Justin Timberlake was arrested in Long Island, New York, on Monday night and charged with driving while intoxicated, authorities said.
The pop star was still in custody in Sag Harbor on Tuesday morning, Sag Harbor Village Police confirmed to NBC News.
He will face a DWI charge, a court official said.
A representative for Timberlake could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday.
