JAIL wasn’t the first thing on Justin Timberlake’s mind when cops arrested him earlier this week for DWI.

As the A-lister was arrested on Monday night after allegedly driving drunk in Sag Harbor, New York, Timberlake couldn’t shake the feeling that the arrest would further hurt his tour ticket sales.

“This is going to ruin the tour,” the former NSYNC member could be heard saying upon being arrested, The standard reported.

The young police officer who arrested him, who had no idea who Timberlake was, asked him what trip he was talking about.

“The world tour,” replied Timberlake.

Timberlake announced his tour, titled “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” at Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show in January.

However, maybe it’s time for Timberlake to say bye Bye Bye to their hopes of selling out the 86-show tour.

Ticket sales for the world tour have been slow at best, with thousands of tickets still available for the next four dates in Chicago and New York.

In late June, the Cry Me A River singer will perform at the United Center in Chicago and then Madison Square Gardens for two shows.

Looking at the seating chart on Ticketmaster for all four shows, the map is lit in shades of blue, signifying high ticket availability.

Tickets, which are a mix of resale tickets and unsold tickets, are scattered throughout the arena, with only a few sections sold out for all shows.

The tour heads to Europe next month, hitting Poland, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and France.

According to Timberlake’s official website, none of his performance dates are sold out in any country.

Despite slow sales, it was reported that “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour” had already racked up $140 million, which is a huge amount to lose if, as The US Sun reported this week, the tour dates could be cancelled.

The SexyBack singer likely hoped to recoup tour money to help pay off the real estate debt on his stunning Hollywood Hills home, which he put up for sale for $35 million in 2021 before taking it off the market months later.

Timberlake had owned the nine-bedroom, 13-bathroom mansion since July 2002, when he purchased it from actress Helen Hunt for $8.3 million.

Public records show he signed an $8.8 million home equity line of credit with Citibank in July 2009.

It’s unclear why he would need the money in a hurry, but he appears to have tried to downsize his real estate empire in recent years.

The former boy band star and his wife, Jessica Biel, also sold their Tribeca penthouse for $29 million in 2022.

In addition to selling his homes, Timberlake also appears to be trying to sell a 127-acre parcel of land located 20 minutes outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

He bought the 127-acre site for $4 million in the picturesque village of Leiper’s Fork for $4 million in 2015 — and listed the property for $10 million last August.

The property sold for $8 million in late May, which is still $2 million below the original asking price.

A DWI charge and a potential failed tour aren’t the only two scandals that may have made Timberlake take a good look in the mirror in recent years.

In 2019, Timberlake publicly apologized to his wife after he was caught on camera getting close to co-star Alisha Wainwright in New Orleans.

“I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address the recent rumors that are hurting the people I love,” Timberlake wrote in a public apology on Instagram.

“A few weeks ago I demonstrated a severe lapse in judgment – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my co-star.”

“I drank too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son,” he said.

“I apologize to my incredible wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.”

“That wasn’t it.”

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office confirmed that Timberlake will wear a suit and tie to appear virtually at a July 26 hearing regarding his recent arrest.

Jessica ‘hugely embarrassed’

With dark circles under her eyes, Justin Timberlake’s wife Jessica Biel looked broken as she filmed scenes in New York for her upcoming Amazon series The Better Sister yesterday.

“Jessica will be extremely disappointed and embarrassed that, once again, Justin is in the headlines for the wrong reasons,” said a source.

“There will be a lot of questions about Justin moving forward, no doubt.

“He clearly has this self-destructive streak that keeps coming out.

“Jessica has shown the patience of a saint who forgives her many mistakes over the past few years, but this is truly testing her patience and more.

“It is well known that their marriage has been on the brink for some time.

“But he’s gone and screwed up again, which will affect everyone in his world, not just him.”
