THIS is the baffling moment Vladimir Putin and his new best friend Kim Jong-un were seen laughing on a drive through North Korea in a Carpool Karaoke-style video.

The bizarre encounter between dictators ended with an emotional goodbye when Putin, 71, waved to the Supreme Leader as he returned home from a disturbing trip to North Korea.

Haunting footage from inside the £350,000 bulletproof Aurus limousine shows the “Axis of Evil” twins driving through the North Korean capital Pyongyang.

Putin was taking a ride in the expensive car on Wednesday with Kim, 40, sitting next for him while the dictators traveled without their security teams.

The video shows the disturbing vision of a typically ruthless and cold Putin telling jokes to a cackling Kim.

The two are said to share “repressed innermost thoughts” on their car trips together, North Korean state media has suggested.

Throughout the pair’s dreaded car journey, they still managed to find time to switch seats while Kim got behind the wheel of his new limousine given to him as a gift by Putin.

The tyrannical twins have struck up a chilling friendship in recent years, with Putin’s first visit to the state in more than two decades bringing the bromance to a head.

Last night, Putin boarded his giant presidential plane as it headed toward Vietnam, signaling the end of his two-day state visit to North Korea.

When the plane started to take offPutin’s head can be seen poking out of a window as he looks outside and finds Kim among a crowd of people.

Vlad shakes hands and raises them to signal the close bond between the two leaders.

He then waves at Kim with a wistful look.

Kim can be seen waving from the floor while on the red carpet.

The awkward farewell ceremony lasted for some time with the two just smiling and waving at each other.

In addition to the limousine, Putin also gave Kim several other lavish gifts, including an admiral’s dagger and a tea set.

In return, the Supreme Leader gifted his new best friend a pair of Pungsan dogs.

Hunting dogs are a rare local breed used to chase tigers in the North Korean mountains.

Putin was seen shaking Kim’s hand before taking a look at his precious dogs, who were tied to a rose-covered fence.

A bizarre video showed Putin leaning down to pet one of the dogs before quickly pulling his hand back when it tried to lick him.

The warmonger then reached out to pet the other dog, but thought better of it after the animal barked at him.

The dogs, which can be aggressive, were bred from wolves and are known for their exceptional hunting abilities.

They are even used to hunt the world’s largest tiger – the Amur tiger – which is endemic to both eastern Russia and North Korea.

PUTIN’S CONCERNED VISIT

Kim rolled out the red carpet for her “Axis of Evil” ally as the tyrants vowed to forge a “New World Order” on Tuesday.

Putin was welcomed to North Korea with an extravagant welcome ceremony as part of the Russian leader’s first visit to the pariah state in 24 years.

They are expected to reinforce their strong relationship and boost defense ties between the two nuclear-armed countries.

During the talks, Kim said that “relations between our countries are entering a new era of flourishing”.

And the North Korean dictator said that “the two countries’ ardent friendship will be strengthened” during Vlad’s visit.

He also expressed his “full support” for Putin’s brutal and illegal war in Ukraine.

Both tyrants have already demonstrated a united front against the West during the two-day meeting.

An innovative mutual defense clause in the event of aggression against either country has already been agreed, Putin said on Wednesday.

“The comprehensive partnership agreement signed today provides, among other things, for mutual assistance in the event of aggression against one of the parties to this agreement,” explained the Russian despot.

He added that “Russia does not rule out the development of military-technical cooperation” with North Korea, in a frightening threat of World War III.

Mad Vlad went on to accuse Western deliveries of advanced and long-range weaponry, including F-16 fighters, to Ukraine for strikes against Russia for violating important agreements.

Kim Jong-un made submissive Putin his “second banana”, says expert

By Katie Davis, Senior Foreign Reporter

DOMINANT Kim Jong-un forced Vladimir Putin to be his “second banana” when greeting his Russian counterpart in North Korea, an expert said.

Professor Erik Bucy told The Sun that Kim “demanded obedience” from the Russian leader – which would have felt “incredibly awkward” as he had long tried to maintain a macho image.

Haunting video captured the moment the pair desperately tried to herd each other into a car at Pyongyang airport.

Both repeatedly signaled the other to get into the Mercedes limousine first – with Putin eventually relenting as Kim smiled and walked around to the other side of the car.

Professor Bucy said: “What looks like a friendly welcome is actually a dance to determine dominance between two nefarious authoritarians.

“As the two leaders approach the limousine, Putin tries to act as the welcoming host and guide Jong-un to his own limousine, but the North Korean seizes the moment, standing firm with his arm outstretched. , non-verbally insisting that he take Putin to the back seat.”

Bucy, who works in Strategic Communications at Texas Tech University, said Kim’s insistence “reinforced Putin’s status as client and Jong-unn’s as host and supplier.”

He added: “This awkward moment evokes the social hierarchy of a couple on a date, where the dominant partner demonstrates chivalry by opening the door for the other, who accepts the role of second banana.

“It must be incredibly strange for Putin, who calls himself the supreme leader of the old Soviet order, to be led to Jong Un’s car like that.”
