TAMAYO Perry, 49, died aged 49 after being mauled to death in an alleged shark attack.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said Sunday that Tamayo’s body was found with multiple bite wounds.
Perry has starred in major box office hits including Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
He previously appeared in the 2002 Hollywood hit Blue Crush and had a role in Hawaii Five-0.
Tributes poured in for the star with one friend writing: “Just heard an old friend Tamayo Perry died in a shark attack on Oahu, Goat Island. So sad. He was a sweetheart.”
