The reported incident occurred at Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Scaggs, 58, allegedly got into an argument with a customer at the gas station over a lit cigarette at around 3:40 a.m.

The former wrestling star reportedly said he worked as a security guard at the store, according to TMZ.

Scaggs allegedly told the man to stop smoking inside the house, which reportedly upset the customer.

That argument allegedly moved outside, where Scaggs pulled out a knife.

The customer later denied lighting a cigarette inside the store.

The former WWE star was reportedly arrested on June 15.

He received one count of first-degree assault and one count of armed criminal action, according to TMZ.

Scaggs has pleaded not guilty to those charges and is scheduled to appear in court next month, according to court records seen by TMZ.

The former sports entertainer reportedly told police he acted in self-defense and stabbed the man after he allegedly tried to attack Scaggs in the parking lot.

Police reportedly said they discovered a man bleeding from the head, chest, legs, stomach and buttocks when they arrived at the scene, according to TMZ.

He was taken to a hospital soon after for his injuries, according to reports.

Police reportedly said the man was in and out of consciousness when they found him.

The alleged victim also reportedly told doctors that Scaggs was the aggressor during the confrontation.

Scaggs entered the wrestling scene in 1985 and reached the height of his career in the 1990s.

This included winning a WCW Tag Team Championship in the 1990s.

The professional wrestler was known by several professional names such as 2 Cold Scorpio and Flash Funk.

He competed in WWE and WCW.

Scaggs has also won several other major championships such as the ECW World Tag Team Championship and the ECW World Television Championship.

The former star hasn’t fought professionally since the early 2000s.
