TAYLOR Casey’s mother has revealed the last message she received from her daughter before she disappeared in the Bahamas.

Casey, 41, was last seen on the evening of June 19 and was reported missing the next day after failing to attend her morning class at Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat, according to the Royal Bahamas Police Force.

Colette Seymore, Casey’s mother, explained that she was notified of her daughter’s disappearance after the resort called and asked if she had heard from her daughter that day, according to CBS News.

“I heard from Taylor on Tuesday, which was the last time Taylor sent me pictures of Taylor in the Atlantic Ocean, saying, ‘I miss you, Mom. I miss you. Look, I’m at the beach,”‘ she explained.

Seymore explained that she and her daughter spoke regularly.

“Taylor always calls me, keeps in touch. Taylor sent me beautiful photos of the Bahamas,” said Seymore ABC news.

“We want Taylor home. We need Taylor in our lives. We miss Taylor.”

Casey has been a yoga practitioner for 15 years and initially traveled from Chicago to the retreat to “fulfill a long-term goal of deepening her practice,” according to Casey’s missing person poster.

Her family described her as “a light-skinned black woman, approximately 6 feet tall and 300 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.”

Seymore believes she wouldn’t have left without telling anyone.

“Taylor would never disappear like that,” Seymore said.

“I believe Taylor is in danger because she was eager to share her yoga retreat experience with others when she returns.”

Casey’s friend Emily Williams and her mother are currently searching for answers after the 41-year-old’s phone turned up at the bottom of the ocean.

“We have received scattered updates, but they have been sparse, and we want to make sure they are taking this case as seriously as we are,” Williams said.

“And we know we need to be present face to face so we can get all the information we need. And so we can fully defend Taylor.”

Seymore said CNN that she is heading to the Bahamas on Tuesday in search of her daughter.

GREAT TRAVEL ADVISOR

Since January, the Bahamas has been under a Level 2 travel advisory.

US authorities warned that tourists could encounter: “Violent crimes, such as robberies, armed robberies and sexual assaults, occur in both tourist and non-tourist areas.”

After Casey’s disappearance, travel editor Peter Greenberg also speculated that increased gang activity could be the reason the warning was posted, according to CBS News.

“The reason the State Department issued this advisory is the increase in gang crime in the Bahamas,” the editor said.

“Because there is an increase in gang crime situations in places like Mexico or Jamaica, that doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t go there.”

Greenberg believes travelers could be in danger by traveling to the wrong places.

“The problems that happen for any American traveler is when he, say, goes out at night with friends or alone in a neighborhood that he doesn’t know, or that he doesn’t understand or that is unfamiliar to him and he’s not traveling in a group.”

“That’s where they might have some problems.”
