Embarrassing footage shows Brits rushing to put their towels on the floor in yet another sunbed fight – but some fed-up tourists have opted to take revenge.

Turkey’s Prime Beach Hotel appears to be the new victim of sunbed races, a viral video shows.

Fascinating footage of desperate tourists shows the sunbed madness going overboard once again.

But a confession in the comments restores faith to tourists abroad.

The time-stamped footage shows a crowd of tourists walking pathetically towards the sun loungers from different directions at 7.55am, invading the pool.

Solo tourists can even be seen shuffling around various beds and umbrellas while laying out towels to mark their territory.

Not even 15 minutes later, the filmmaker moves his camera to the pool, where towels are spread out on almost every bed.

Any latecomers would have no option but to sunbathe on the hard ground.

In the 30-second video shared on TikTok, users took to the comments to express their distaste for sunbed consumers.

One of them said: “Unfortunately, I have never done this and never will.”

Another said: “Do the same in Mallorca, Tenerife”

And a sarcastic: “Enjoy your vacation!”

But one commenter made a heroic confession in an attempt to put an end to the sunbathing madness.

The user said: “My friend’s son woke up early and threw all his towels in the pool!”

Another user also shared what he does to take a stand against the sunbed wars – suggesting he would rather face the wrath of an angry tourist than sit on the ground:

They said, “I’ll take the towels off haha. And let the drama take its course. I loved it.”

This viral video isn’t the first of its kind, with Brits being criticized for selfishly stealing sunbeds around the world while on holiday.

British tourists in popular destinations such as Spain and Turkey are taking extreme measures to get the best sunbeds – including queuing from 5.30am to wait for pool areas to open.

Recently, ‘civil wars’ have broken out across Europe, with sun-hungry Brits fighting each other – and locals – for the best spots near pools and beaches.

Meanwhile, videos of people sunbathing have gone viral on TikTok, with reservists branded “selfish”.

In one video, a brave hotel employee declared that he was doing “God’s work” by removing beach towels hanging from sun loungers.
